HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN….BOSS TIME TILL THE END OF THE WEEK….

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN….BOSS TIME TILL THE END OF THE WEEK….

Its BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN´S 65th birthday today and we give you a 20% discount on every order till the end of the week….also for the people, who dont get it.. haha.. but seriously.. i bought my first Bruce Springsteen record in 1985 and since then i never stoped listening and he is a good example for how music and art can guide you through he up’s and down’s of everyday life..i dont know.. its weird following someone for almost 30 years now, without knowing that person, but still feel that you are somehow close and connect to a person and their art… but it feels great and it shows again how much power music and art in general has..for me it would be impossible to deal with all that everday bullshit wich surrounds me/us.. and it will not get better… the political approach in music is getting less and less in the modern music world, also within the punk scene in my opinion and i think that is kind of sad, bad and dangerous , cause the circumstances are still the same if not worser then ever.
It seems that the tradition of people like woodie guthrie, pete seeger, the clash, cress and all those people, who had an impact on politcal movements since almost 70 years is slightly fading away and i think Bruce Springsteen is one of the few left, who are still standing up for something and his beliefs and so much more what coperate mainstream culture tries to sell us right now…. i know that some of you will totally disagree with me about that.. haha..
i really hope that music + art will get the power and beauty back to inspire and support people and movements everywhere to question the status quo, borders, laws and rules, marketing strategies and support people to take their lifes back in their own hands….
